Dr. Michael Brenner is the Theodore B. Bayles Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Brenner is also the Chief of the Division of Rheumatology, Immunology, and Allergy at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Brenner and his laboratory have made a number of significant discoveries in the fields of antigen presentation and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. Brenner was also the scientific co-founder of Adheron Therapeutics (acquired by Roche). He was elected member of the US National Academy of Science and has published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers. Prior to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dr. Brenner held research positions at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and UCLA.
